For My Valentine

Now that's done. So here is what my honey is getting for Valentine's day. 

A coupon book for him to use all year - no expiration dates, no limits on use. My favorite kind of coupons.

To get started I grabbed everything from my crafting stash that was red, pink, hearts etc. This included Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels and stamping ink from Close to My Heart.

This is the original coupon book I took apart to make Jim's. I actually bought it for him last year but had hidden it away and by Valentine's I had forgotten where I had put it. I found it this year during one of my organizing sessions.

 

I trimmed each coupon so it would fit in my book - I also distressed around the edges with stamping ink.

The base for my book is card stock and the cover is a hot coffee sleeve from Starbucks. I just opened one side and made a book.

I love Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I used them to paint the white paper for the book and a couple canvas hearts I had. 

 Again here is my finished Valentine and a picture of some of the pages. This book is unlimited so Jim can use any coupons as many times as he would like. I'm thinking favorite dinner and back rub will be used a lot.
